Get unlimited Daily Cash with Apple Card

Learn how to use Apple Card to get a percentage of every purchase back as Daily Cash.

What is Daily Cash?

When you make a purchase with Apple Card, you get a percentage of your purchase back in Daily Cash.1 Apply for an Apple Card Savings account to have your Daily Cash automatically deposited into Savings, where it earns interest.2 Set up Apple Cash to have Daily Cash automatically deposited into Apple Cash so that you can spend it or send it to people you know. There’s no limit to how much Daily Cash you can get, and you choose where it goes.

How to find your Daily Cash

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.

  2. Tap the More buttonthe more button.

  3. Tap Rewards & Offers.

See the Daily Cash that you've earned in a specific week, month, or year

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap your Apple Card.

  2. Tap Weekly Activity, Monthly Activity, or Yearly Activity.

  3. From the top of the screen, tap Week, Month, or Year to see the total amount of Daily Cash you received for each time period.

  4. To view a previous week, month, or year, swipe right.

See the Daily Cash that you earned for a specific purchase

1.    Open the Wallet app, then tap your Apple Card.

2.   From the top-right of your screen, tap the Search icon . You can search by category, merchant, location, date, or transaction amount.

3.   When you find the transaction, tap it to see the Daily Cash you earned.

You can also see the charge amount and a map showing where the purchase was made.

If you use Apple Card Family, you can see who made the purchase.

Find merchants that offer 3% Daily Cash when you use Apple Card with Apple Pay

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.

  2. Tap the More buttonthe more button, then tap Rewards & Offers.

  3. Scroll down to Merchant Benefits, then tap See Details to see the list of merchants that offer 3% Daily Cash when you use your Apple Card with Apple Pay.

Choose where to send your Daily Cash

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.

  2. Tap the More button, then tap Rewards & Offers.

  3. Under Daily Cash Election, select Savings or Apple Cash.

You can have one Daily Cash Election at a time.

When you open a Savings account with Apple Card, if you have any Daily Cash available to redeem, it will automatically be transferred to your new Savings account.

If you don't set up Savings or Apple Cash

  • If you don't set up Savings or Apple Cash as your Daily Cash Election, your Daily Cash from Apple Card purchases accumulates.

  • The Daily Cash that accumulates can be redeemed as credit to your Apple Card account when you pay your bill.

  • If you later make a Daily Cash Election, any accrued but unredeemed Daily Cash will be transferred to your Daily Cash Election.

What happens to Daily Cash when you return a purchase

If you return a purchase made with Apple Card and are issued a credit for the purchase price, the Daily Cash you received when you made the purchase is charged back to your Apple Card.

If you share an Apple Card or use Apple Card Family

  • Each person in the family receives unlimited Daily Cash for their purchases.3

  • Only owners and co-owners4 can get a Savings account.

  • Apple Card Family5 participants6 can direct their Daily Cash to Apple Cash, but not to Savings.

  • If a participant in the family is under 18, the family organizer must set up Apple Cash for their account before they can receive Daily Cash.

  1. To access Savings, Apple Card Owners and Co-Owners must open a Savings account. Savings accounts are provided by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch. Member FDIC. Apple Card Owners and Co-Owners may individually apply for a Savings account and are subject to eligibility requirements. By opening a Savings account, Apple Card Owners and Co-Owners are affirmatively electing to have all future Daily Cash automatically deposited into their respective Savings account. Daily Cash may not be divided between Apple Cash Card and Savings accounts. Owners and Co-Owners may individually change where their Daily cash is deposited at any time. Savings accounts are not available in American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, or US Minor Outlying Islands. To set up Savings, you must add Apple Card to Wallet on an iPhone or iPad that supports and has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.

To send and receive money with an Apple Cash account, you must be 18 and a U.S. resident. If you’re under 18, your family organizer can set up Apple Cash for you as part of their Apple Cash Family account, but you may not be able to access features that require a supported payment card. Security checks may require more time to make funds available. Apple Cash Family accounts can only send or receive up to $2000 within a rolling seven-day period.   3. An Apple Cash card is required. Participants under 18 on Apple Card Family accounts must have the family organizer of their Apple Cash Family set up their own Apple Cash card. If you do not have an Apple Cash account, Daily Cash can be applied as a credit on account Owner’s statement balance by contacting Goldman Sachs Bank USA. The Apple Cash card is issued by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC.

  4. Each Co-Owner is individually liable for all balances on the Co-Owned Apple Card, including amounts due on your Co-Owner's account before the accounts merged. Each Co-Owner will be reported to credit bureaus as an owner on the account. In addition, Co-Owners will have full visibility into all account activity and each Co-Owner is responsible for the other Co-Owner’s instructions or requests. Co-Ownership involves risk, including payment history and other information about your Apple Card, including negative items like missed payments. Addition of new Co-Owner or merging existing accounts is subject to credit approval and general eligibility requirements. For Apple Card eligibility requirements, click here. Either Co-Owner can close the account at any time, which may negatively impact your credit, and you will still be responsible for paying all balances on the account.   5. Apple Card Family Participants and Co-Owners do not need to have a familial relationship but must be part of the same Apple Family Sharing group.

  6. If you are a Participant, you are able to spend on the account but are not responsible for payments. Being a Participant who is reported to the credit bureaus on an account that has a negative payment history (e.g. the account goes past due) or is overutilized can have negative effects on your credit. To access and use all Apple Card features and products available only to Apple Card users, you must add Apple Card to Wallet on an iPhone or iPad that supports and has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
